Personal Safety and Defense (October 9, 2025)

Do you have questions about personal safety, home safety, personal data safety? Would you like to understand how to be more aware of your surroundings? What are some things that you can do to reduce distractions and focus on your activities and where you are. Join us as we hear from Thomas Reece, former Marine and combat veteran and certified home defense instructor.

The Church of Christ at Indian Land is hosting a blood drive on Saturday, August 2, in partnership with the American Red Cross. Join us to donate blood and save a life from 10 AM to 2:30 PM. Appointments are recommended.

As part of our 2025 sermon series exploring how to be Better Christians, we’re diving deep into the discipline of contentment. Our members have been challenged to donate three items they do not need, but still value – maybe even still want. These items will be available for purchase during our Yard Sale for Haiti on Saturday, May 24. All proceeds will be donated to mission work ministering to the people of Haiti.

The average distance to walk for water is four miles, if there is even any water to be found. This pattern is not sustainable and stunts the growth of families and individuals everywhere. This is why we Walk4Water.

Walk4Water is a fundraising program within Healing Hands International that helps support its Clean Water program. Starting in 2007, Walk4Water has hosted events in communities all over the nation at schools, churches, and organizations. The goal is to bring the life-saving gift of clean water to those who need it so desperately. Since 2001, we are grateful to share over 1,500 clean water wells have been drilled in over twenty countries. The impact is exponential — clean water leads to abundant life!
